2016 LOOKBOOK (Part 1)

Hello hello~
It's so nice to finally back to writing and updating this blog in a while.
First of all, i would like to say Happy New Year for all of my lovely readers (i hope it's not too late!)
Second, i want to say sorry from the bottom of my heart for my lack of updates these past few months.
In my hiatus, I was going through a little bump on the road and so i had many things to think about, once again i'm sorry T.T
Third and finally, I'M BACK!
And i've prepared a little something for all of you! (yaaayyy~)

This new year, i want to make my own version of a lookbook!
So exciting~~
As some of you might know that the style that i'm interested in is a bit different compared to people here in Indonesia.
So that's why i wanted to share my point of view of clothing and trends with you all and hopefully broaden perspectives of many in the future!

I am going to work hard and update this lookbook throughout 2016 to fulfill my new year's resolution!
Also, not forgetting any interesting topics that might spark your interests, i will try to write as many as i can as well.

A little quote to kick-start this series:
I like girlish things without frills, boys' clothes, and things that really fit. - Twiggy (Vogue Magazine 1967)

I hope you guys will enjoy this post~

15/09/2015 - St Kilda Pier, Melbourne

Took a refreshing stroll by the sea last week.
Here's a few snaps of the beautiful St Kilda Pier and my take on styling denim on denim.
Enjoy~

Had lunch at Beachcomber and ordered the Beachcomber Seafood Pizza.
Was so delicious, but it's a bit pricey for just pizza (just saying).

Got Lucky

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Hello beautiful readers everywhere!
I'm super excited to share this post about the giveaway I won last month.
This was so unexpected and who would've thought that I was this lucky to have won it!

The one who held the giveaway is none other than Megan Hess.
She is a wonderful fashion illustrator and has worked with a lot of renowned fashion brands throughout the world.
I bought her 'Fashion House' book when I was on my Brisbane - Goldcoast trip last year in 2014.
I've been following her since.
I loved her work, how it flowed, her inspiration, her imagination, everything!

There were 2 kinds of giveaway held, a Pink set; and a Black and White set (which I won).
So, I've decided to make this post all black and white too!

Hope you'll enjoy it!

I received 6 items in total and they have beautiful packaging.

A cocktail tray with illustrations printed on.

An A3 size Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle print.

A comfy little cushion with illustrations printed on.

A porcelain vase with printed illustrations on both sides.

A beautiful printed silk scarf (my favorite out of all of them).

Lastly, a cute set of little notebooks. The illustrations came from her Fashion House book (middle).

I couldn't be thankful enough to have won all these prizes.
Never in my entire life have I won anything, this is the first time hahaha

I hope you enjoyed the photos!
I took them with my sister's piano as the backdrop using a Samsung digital camera and edited them all completely on my phone!
Maybe I'll make a post soon about my top phone apps I use to edit photos with.

Thanks for reading!
xoxo.
