K-Tunes

Hey guys, I'm back with another post.
This time I want to share with you my music playlist!
As you know, I loooooovee K-pop and basically I've been listening to it every single day in anytime and anywhere (and yes, I sing in the bathroom as well)
For some of you, maybe K-pop isn't a personal favorite, but no wrong in trying to listen to something different once in a while, right?

I'm going to share and link you to the music videos (or mp3 videos) to every song that I put in.
I'm gonna write the artist and the title of the song in both English and Korean!

Enjoy!

NEW RELEASES
Title:
So these are my personal favorites from their album.
EXO's brand new release is highly praised (once again) because of the quality of their music.
Yes, I know that they had multiple problems in the past years, but nonetheless they're artists who we should respect because of their hard work.
I would recommend 'CALL ME BABY' out of the four because it has really nice beats and their vocals blend well with the raps.
The MV is really cool, but really different from their teaser videos though.
I love the makeovers done (Chanyeol's hair tho *-*) and their street style outfits.

LOVE THIS SONG, especially the all pink and girly music video.
I noticed that Jia is wearing Moschino's pink leather dress from its Barbie collection (shout out to Jeremy Scott!)
The music itself has some really interesting beats but still totally have that miss A style.
Cute choreography and I heard that JYP sneaked in some trainees inside their MV (ooohh)
As you may know the recent announcement of Suzy and Lee Minho dating.
Might be the end of the world for some of you, but to be honest they make a really great couple!
I totally support them and also miss A.

With the addition of youngest member Yeri to the group, Red Velvet is back with their 1st mini album 'Ice Cream Cake'.
'Ice Cream Cake' starts with an eerie feel but it's actually a sweet and fun song with a mixture of different styles of music, whereas Automatic is a slow beat dance track.
From MV, outfits, to the choreography; I love everything about them.
Red Velvet sweeps a lot of trophies for these songs as the number 1 on music shows.
I love that Red Velvet's music is always creatively arranged and not like any other girl groups.
SM showcases the 2 different sides of the girls every time they release new songs.
I would say that Red Velvet is the hottest rookie girl group of the year!

NEW GROUP
Title:

CUBE Ent's new girl group CLC sure got my attention!
I love the song, it's upbeat, fresh and so addictive.
The MV is really colorful to give a fun vibe.
I especially love the high ponytails and the choreography to this song, it's just too cute!
Definitely have to know more about these girls.
Hoo bee doo eh pepepepero utgyeo~

DUET
15& (박지민,백예린)

These girls are all about music, their vocals are just incredible.
Both of them were discovered from a young age and their talents are just amazing.
Yerin was discovered from Star King, Jimin was the champion from Kpop Star Season 1.
'Love is Madness', 'Somebody' and 'I Dream' are my favorites of 15&.
Somebody is an upbeat track, whereas the others are R&B and ballad.
Out of the 3, I would recommend 'I Dream', to me the meaning of this song is so beautiful and the music video reflects it all.
These are a keeper in my playlist!

R&B
CRUSH (크러쉬)
Title:

TRUST ME YOU WILL MELT AT HIS VOICE!
I fell in love with Crush since my Korean friend introduced me to his song 'Sometimes' last year and he's been my number 1 choice in regards to R&B.
His style of music is really smooth and romantic.
You'll literally melt if you have the same taste in music as mine.
I suggest you also check out my favorite boy group BTS's youngest member Jungkook's cover of 'SOFA'
The perfect bedtime music (his sweet voice will lullaby you to sleep;))

Just like his stage name, G.Soul music is nothing but soul.
I read about his story and how he became an artist.
Pure hard work and his passion for music is truly inspiring, his whole heart is poured into his work.
With simple beats and lyrics, he can move the hearts of millions of souls.
Totally recommended!

BOY GROUPS
BTS/Bangtan Boys (방탄소년단)

Title:

Here we go, my favorite boy group of all time, BTS!
I've listed all of my favorites from these 3 albums (and those are not all of their good songs by the way)
It's a lot but if you wanna have a quick listen, just click every first song I've written as the title song.
You'll quickly fall in love with this hip hop idol group once you discover their charms.
And believe me, I've MADE people love them, like REALLY LOVE THEM because I couldn't stop talking about them haha
BTS is gonna release their new song next month in May and a concert here in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) in July.
Don't miss out and let's welcome the boys here in down under!

Title:

It's been a while since VIXX released a happy and upbeat song since 'G.R.8.U'
I love the beats and the sweet dance moves of 'Love Equation' because the boys' can show a different side of them, especially Leo (hahahahahaha)
My sister loves VIXX so much and has instantly swoon over Hongbin's new hair (it really looks good on him!)
'Memory' is a sad song featuring Hyuk's vocals and Ravi's rap.
I'm really proud of Hyuk for showcasing his talents because he was always the quiet one in the group, so I'm happy that he got to stand out through this song.

GIRL GROUPS
Title:

There are loads of girl groups debuting this year and that's exactly the reason that some of them didn't really stand out.
G.FRIEND got my attention while I was browsing through Youtube and I found a similar vibe to Girls Generation when they first started out (plus SinB's resemblance to GG's Jessica is so uncanny)
But nonetheless, their music is pretty good.
It's clean, refreshing and their innocent looks complete it all.
Their choreography's also very nice.

Title:

At first I didn't feel anything special from this group, until I saw the dance practice video for 'Hi~'
Amazing focus and teamwork!
Their dance includes confusing moves but they did it so neatly and they're so composed at doing so.
I love their effortless choreography and the song's pretty good.
'Gone' was released a year ago before Jin became a member of LOVELYZ as the main vocal.
The MV of Gone is really depressing, but the song complimented it so it becomes a whole story.
I'm looking forward to what LOVELYZ will come up with next!

BALLAD
Yoon Hyun Sang (윤현상)
Single Album - '파랑:WAVE'
 Title:

Title:

Yoon Hyun Sang is a fairly new solo artist, he was a finalist in Kpop Star Season 1 and signed with IU's company, Loen Entertainment.
Since the first time I heard his voice, I understand why he would do a duet with IU as a debut song.
His voice is smooth and he hits high notes very well.
At the end of the song, you can hear how well they blend their voices together.
Pretty amazing for the debuting singer-songwriter.
He released 'Time Forgets' this year and I just can't stop playing his song at home.
His heartfelt piano playing and singing is so sorrowful.
The MV perfectly interpret his lyrics.
I literally cried when I saw it for the first time.
I definitely recommend listening to all his songs!
